1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any website, service, or subscription offered by The TX Buzz or its city sites (including but not limited to cedarparkbuzz.com and any *.thetxbuzz.com subdomain), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
These terms apply to all users, including free listing submitters, paid subscribers, advertisers, and visitors.
2. Business Listing Services
The TX Buzz offers the following business listing tiers:
- Free Basic Listing — Directory entry with name, address, phone, and hours. No charge. Subject to approval.
- Logo Listing — $15/month — Basic listing plus your business logo displayed on your card throughout the site.
- Full Listing — Logo, dedicated SEO page, map integration, and full business profile.
- SEO Package — Full listing plus Google Review Funnel, priority placement, and SEO optimization.
All listings are subject to review and approval. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing that violates our content standards, is fraudulent, or is otherwise inappropriate for our community audience.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid listings (Logo, Full, and SEO tiers) are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize The TX Buzz to charge your payment method automatically each month until you cancel.
- Subscriptions begin on the date of successful payment.
- Billing occurs on the same date each month (or the nearest valid date).
- You will receive a receipt from Stripe for each charge.
- Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel:
- Email us at info@designadmanagement.com with your business name and email address used at checkout, or
- Contact us through the website's contact form.
Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your listing will remain active until that date. No partial-month refunds are issued. Once a billing cycle has been charged, that month's fee is non-refundable.
We do not offer refunds for charges already processed. Please cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
5. No Chargebacks Policy
By subscribing to any paid tier, you agree to contact us directly to resolve any billing disputes before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us constitutes a breach of these Terms. In such cases, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend or remove your listing
- Permanently ban the associated business from our platform
- Dispute the chargeback with supporting documentation of service rendered
- Pursue recovery of any associated chargeback fees ($25 per incident)
We are committed to resolving all billing issues fairly and promptly. Please email us first — we will make it right.
6. Refund Policy
All subscription fees are non-refundable once charged. This includes:
- Monthly recurring charges
- Logo listing fees
- Setup or onboarding fees
Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion for documented technical errors on our part that prevented service delivery. To request an exception, contact us within 5 days of the charge in question.
7. Content Standards
By submitting a listing, you represent that all information provided is accurate, truthful, and up to date. You agree not to submit:
- False or misleading business information
- Content that infringes on any third-party intellectual property rights
- Inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
- Fake reviews or fraudulent ratings
We reserve the right to edit, suspend, or remove any listing at any time without notice or refund if it violates these standards.
8. Logo & Image Rights
By uploading a logo or image to our platform, you confirm that you own or have the right to use that image, and you grant The TX Buzz a non-exclusive license to display it on our platform for the duration of your active subscription.
9. Privacy
We collect your name, business name, email address, and billing information solely for the purpose of managing your listing and processing payments. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Voter email addresses collected through our Best Of voting feature are used only for platform communications and, if opted in, local promotional updates from Cedar Park businesses.
10. Limitation of Liability
The TX Buzz and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.
We do not guarantee any specific results from your listing, including search engine rankings, customer inquiries, or sales.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above and, where practical, by email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
